When I was a child my parents took me to a real Swedish smorgasbord. There, on tables, were the most wondrous dishes. And I could help myself to whatever I wanted. "Why don't you try a little bit of everything?" my mother suggested. That's what I did. I did try a little of this and a little of that. But mainly I found a couple of things that I really liked (fruit soup was one of them) and I gorged myself Looking back, I don't know which I liked better: the food or the fact that I could make my own choices. I guess I liked both a lot. This website is a smorgasbord of doors. And that is a mixed metaphor. But those who pass through these portals will indeed have a taste of various offerings. |

There is a portal into dreams. There are excerpts from my book, The World Dream Book. And, as time goes by, there will be more material on dreams--more ways to help people make sense out of their own dreams. There is an entrance into signs and omens. How can we use signs and omens to understand the world around us? Unfortunately we have been taught to confuse signs and omens with superstitions like the one about black cats.. (My black cat Stella crosses my path all the time and brings me nothing but joy.) Omens are not ominous. People have been using omens in the world around them for as long as there have been people. The very word, divination, shows that people have seen their intuitive sense as a door to the divine. For those who want to experience divination in an original and exciting way, there is a door to that as well. Would you like to have a psychic portrait, a past life regression, an upbeat reading? It's not scary.Open that door. Newsletters are giving way to the internet. It's such a wonderful place to get one's truth out. The challenge, of course, is to make it interesting to total strangers. If you want to see what's cooking in the newsletter kitchen, open that door. Before there was movie or television drama there was radio drama. Radio drama is more than movies without images. It encourages the imagination like few media do. The Woodstock Radio Theater Ensemble is participating in the revival of radio drama. We have produced four original plays and more are on the way. Now in the Fall of 2004 there is a new addition to this smorgasbord. Uncommon Scents are the result of years of experience in the art of aromatherapy. For those who need help sleeping, I have created "Sleep Drops". For those who need to freshen their enviironment with natural smells, there is "Heaven Scent". Bottom line, this is all meant to be enjoyable. Maybe my mother was right. Have a little taste of everything. On the other hand, maybe you will find something that you want to gorge on. Go for it!
